Shipping and Returns
How much is shipping?
 

You may purchase as much as you would like for one flat shipping rate of $8.95* for ground shipping per order in the lower 48 United States and military APO, FBO addresses. Hawaii and Alaska will be charged $32.00.

Holiday Returns
Holiday Purchases from November 15th to December 25th can be returned up to January 25th.

At this time, we are unable to ship to P.O. boxes unless the address is an APO or FPO military address.

Your order may be delayed if you are shipping to an address other than your credit card billing address. To expedite shipping, we highly recommend adding the alternative shipping address to your credit card account. You can add alternative addresses to your file by contacting your credit card company at the toll free number on the back of the credit card. This is for your protection as well as ours.

PLEASE NOTE: Your credit card will not be charged until the day your order ships. All credit card charges are done manually through our office the day your order ships. Under some circumstances, we may charge your credit card 50% of the order total before your order ships if your order is expected to ship within a week. The remainder of the balance will be charged on the date of shipment. We may also partial ship items on your order if we foresee there will be a delay on certain items. You will not be charged any additional shipping charges. Backorders will not be charged until the merchandise is ready for shipping.

What is your return policy?
  Returns:

Policy Change Effective: January 10, 2013
Merchandise with a list price of $1,000 or more that is returned for a refund will be subject to a $50 re-stocking/handling fee (minus any discounts).  You will find a notation on the product page for the merchandise this applies to.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority at Vavra's Made in Italy (www.VavraItaly.com). If you are not satisfied with your item(s), we will be happy to offer a full refund* (minus shipping costs), or an exchange (minus shipping costs) for any unworn, unused product purchased.  Please inspect your merchandise immediately to determine if your clothing item(s) will fit and if there are any flaws.

Items must be returned within 20 days** of receiving your package. and we must receive the return within 30 days (allowing 10 days for shipping). If your merchandise is not received within this time frame or is not returned in new condition with tags, we reserve the right to refuse the return.

We reserve the right to not offer a cash refund on ties and accessories that we suspect have been worn for a special event and returned.  

We cannot accept any returns that may have been special ordered or monogrammed. Due to health restrictions, we cannot accept returns for swimsuits and underwear that have been tried on.  

**Christmas merchandise purchased from November 15th to December 25th can be returned up to January 20th.

To qualify for a refund, ALL items must be returned in their original condition, including the original packaging and containers/boxes/hangers, documentation and tags. Do not mark or deface original manufacturer containers/labels in any manner. Do not keep the original hangers or manufacturer’s boxes. Do not use the manufacturer’s box as the mailing box.  Do not try on new shoes outside. Do not alter or remove tags.

We will not accept returns if packaging is not in its original condition - we will return such items to you. If your merchandise is received in non-resalable condition (such as: wadded up and thrown in a box, altered, laundered, worn, missing tags, missing packing), you will be notified that the item will be returned to you and no refund/exchange will be issued.  If you reject the return shipment from us, Vavra’s Made in Italy reserves the right to liquidate the merchandise and withhold credit.

Gift-wrapping is non-refundable.

To expedite your return, we ask the following:
You must fill out the Return Order Form (sent with your order) and include it with your returned item(s). This must be done within 20 days of the delivery date of your order. This means, we must receive your merchandise no later than 30 days from the date you have received your merchandise (allowing 10 days for the return shipment). The RETURN FORM must be included and filled out with your returned merchandise in order to process your exchange or refund. If you have lost the form, you may include a detailed note on why you are returning the merchandise along with your desire for a refund or exchange.  

All refunds will be issued in the same manner as paid. There are no exceptions.  Gift returns will be credited to the original person who ordered the merchandise and are subject to the same time limit guidelines (exept during the Christmas season).  Returns should be insured for the full price by a trackable carrier such as UPS, Federal Express or USPS to:

We are not responsible for shipping costs and/or lost packages returned to us.  We do not accept C.O.D. returned items.
After a return has been received, it will take 10-14 days to process.  You may log into your account on the Web site to determine if your return has been received.  

Exchanges:

You may exchange your merchandise for something else subject to availability.  Please include this information on your return form. Shipping is FREE on all exchanges to the lower 48 United States!  Once your return is received, your exchange will be shipped at no additional shipping charge to you through ground shipping only. (You are responsible for the shipping of the return.)  All other destinations for exchanges, including Hawaii and Alaska are charged according to UPS shipping rates.)

Rain checks may apply to sale items if the merchandise is out of stock or backordered and is not listed as a limited offer or supply.  Recurring merchandise is allowed rain checks.  We do not guarantee any timeframe on the rain check merchandise.  However, we can provide you with an estimate of the length of time involved in receiving an out of stock or backordered item and you may choose to proceed or cancel the order.  Your credit card will not be charged until the rain check merchandise is available.  

Mistakes or Defective Merchandise:

In the event that you receive the wrong merchandise or a defective or damaged product, we will refund the original product price, shipping and other fees via cash/credit.  Please contact us within 72 hours of receiving your merchandise by calling our toll free telephone number: (702 632-1200.  We will issue a call tag and have UPS pick up your package at no charge to you.
Your refund will be issued in the same manner it was paid. If you request a replacement, we will issue your replacement item (subject to availability) at our cost once we receive the return.

Canceling an Order:

You may cancel an order within 6 hours of placing it at no charge.  Orders are processed rather quickly and it may have already been shipped.  But we do allow a 6-hour window for cancellation from the time you placed your order.  However, if you are canceling your order after the 6 hours and it has not been shipped, there is a $25 cancellation fee.  

If your order has already been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.  You may return the merchandise once you receive it.  If your package is refused after being shipped, you will still be charged for the shipping and also the return shipping.

Policy Change Effective: January 10, 2013
Merchandise with a list price of $750 or more that is returned for a refund will be subject to a 15% re-stocking/handling fee (minus any discounts).  

Any "refused" orders that are not picked up or accepted by the shipping carrier are subject to a 10% restocking fee and a $35 shipping/handling fee.  We highly suggest returning the package instead of "refusing" it from the shipping carrier.
When will I get my refund on a return?
  After a return has been received, it will take 10-14 days to process.  You may log into your account on the Web site to determine if your return has been received or call us (702) 632-1200.  Please allow extra time for your credit card holder to apply the credit to your account.  

I got the wrong item, now what?

My merchandise is damaged. What should I do?
  In the event that you receive the wrong merchandise or a defective or damaged product, we will refund the original product price, shipping and other fees via cash/credit.  Please contact us within 72 hours of receiving your merchandise by calling our toll free telephone number: (702) 632-1200.  Please place merchandise back in the original shipping box, just as you received it. We will issue a call tag and have UPS pick up your package at no charge to you.  

Please note: We can only issue refunds/exchanges on defective and damaged items if they have not been laundered, altered or defaced.  Please inspect your clothing merchandise prior to cleaning or altering.  

Your refund will be issued in the same manner it was paid. If you request a replacement, we will issue your replacement item (subject to availability) at our cost once we receive the return.
When will my order ship?
  Most merchandise will ship within 2-4 business days.  Each item on our Web site has a listed timeframe on when that particular item ships from our warehouse.  Not every item is stored in our local warehouse and may need to be ordered. However, all items will ship within 5-7 business days unless there is an unforeseen problem.  (Such as:  backorders, rain checks and out of stock merchandise) If there is a problem, you will be notified and given the option of canceling your order. Please use the guide on the page if you are upgrading your shipping.

Once your item ships, ground shipping will take up to 10 days.  If you are on the East Coast, the estimated time is 7-10 days.  Midwest customers can expect their package in 4-7 days.  The West Coast should arrive within 3 days.  Please note:  If you are in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and California – you will receive your package typically within 2 business days.  There is no need to choose the air delivery options.
We may also partial ship items on your order if we foresee there will be a delay on certain items within your order.  You will not be charged any additional shipping charges.  Backorders will not be charged until the merchandise is ready for shipping.  You will be given the option of canceling any backordered items.

Also, after placing your order, you may click the "My Account" link at the top of any page to track the status of your order. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24-48 hours of shipment.
